Outdoor Mix Festival

Le weekend après les 1000 pagaies j'ai enchaîné avec l'outdoormix festival ! Après une petite Haute Dourbie avec Gaël histoire de s'échauffer, direction Embrun dans les Hautes-Alpes pour 4 jours de bonne rivière !
J'y étais allé il y a deux ans avec Ludo, David et Jérémy on s'était bien régalé et je souhaitais vraiment y retourner cette année !
Straight after the 1000 pagaies event, I went to Embrun in the french Alps for competing at the Outdoormix Festival. It was my second time there so I was knowing a little bit the region.

Le programme du weekend était vraiment au top: Xrem Sprint, BorderCross, Long Race, Xtrem Slalom, Slopestyle et Freestyle !
On attaque donc avec le sprint et le border sur le dernier rapide du Guil, je n'ai pas été du tout rapide sur cette course, le lendemain place à la longue race sur la Biaysse ! Je ne connaissais pas du tout le parcours et ai tout descendu à vue pour terminer à la 15ème place !
Le lendemain place au slalom extrême dans les combes de chateau Queyras sur le Guil ! C'était vraiment super plaisant à naviguer.
Finalement il n'y avais pas assez d'eau pour le Slopestyle ... Dommage !

We were more than 70 paddlers this year and the Extrem kayak race program was spicy ! 
We started with the sprint on the last rapid of the Guil River, I have not been very fast on that race ... The next day it was the long race on the Biaysse river, I didn't know the section and did my first descent during the race, it was rocky but I managed to not stick the rocks and ended at the 15th place !  The next day we did the Xtrem slalom in the Chateau Queyras gorges on the Guil river, it was my favorite race of the weekend I think :)

Encore une fois on s'est vraiment gavé sur l'outdoormix ! de bons concerts, de belles rivières, une très belle équipe bref l'an prochain j'y serais pour sûr !

Once again we had very good times in Embrun: good partys, beautiful rivers, good team ... I'll be there next year for sure !
